Accessibility
SteadyCheck is built for people of all ages and abilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and level AAA contrast for reading text.

Make it easier to use
At the top of every page you can:
- Change the text size — A, A+ or A++.
- Turn on high contrast — black and white, with thicker borders and underlined links.
- Use an easier-reading font — Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for low vision.
- Reduce motion — stops animations.
- Read the page aloud — every answer, alert and guide also has a "Read this to me" button.
If you're a member, your choices are saved to your account and follow you to every device.
Other things we do
- Large buttons (at least 48 by 48 pixels) with space between them.
- A clear gold outline shows where you are when using a keyboard.
- Colour is never the only way we show something — every answer has a word and a picture too.
- Every chart has a plain-English sentence and a "Show as table" button.
- No time limits on forms; long forms save as you go.
- You can zoom in as much as you like.
