Using Chrome Remote Desktop safely
A free way to let our helper see your screen — only when you started it.
Only use these steps after you pressed "I need help on my computer now" in your SteadyCheck portal, and the person on the phone said your code word to you.
Steps
- Open the Google Chrome browser and type remotedesktop.google.com/support yourself.
- Under Get Support, click the download button and install it if asked.
- Click Generate Code. Read the code to our helper.
- Click Share when asked.
- To stop, click Stop Sharing at the bottom of the screen.
