Choose a family code word
A private word that proves a call or message is really from us.
A code word is a word only you (and us) know. When we contact you, we will say it, so you know it's really us. When you call us, you say it, so we know it's really you.
Good code words
- Easy for you to remember.
- Not on Facebook or anywhere online — not a pet's name, street name or birthday.
- Example idea: a favourite food plus a place, like "pavlova-Bendigo".
Remember
- Never tell your code word to anyone who calls you. If they're really us, they say it to you.
- We will never send your code word by email, text or WhatsApp.
