Filter scam texts on an Android phone

Turn on spam protection in Google Messages.

Steps

  1. Open Messages.
  2. Tap your picture (or the three dots), then Messages settings.
  3. Tap Spam protection and turn on Enable spam protection.

To report a scam text, press and hold it, then choose Block and Report spam.
